A requirements management tool is :

- A secure repository, available 365/7/24, giving access to requirements only to those who need to see them.
- The only way to guarantee traceability between why, what and how
- The only way to quickly assess the impact of regulatory changes or the needs arising from the implementation of your organization’s strategy.
- A way to professionalize your business analyst team, with a tool dedicated to their activity that helps them implement best practices and standards.
- A way to unite your teams around an organization-wide reference system
A requirements management tool is not :
- A modeling tool to replace the one (possibly) used by your technical teams
- A miracle tool which, by its very presence, will improve the quality of the requirements produced by your business analysts.
- An existing tool (evolution management, modeling) which becomes a requirements management tool just because it can be used to define requirements…
